Wintel is making a tablet for MSI and it's the
WindPad 100. Apparently, the company plans to actually ship this tablet sometime in January / February 2011 and, like the picture above, it'll be running Microsoft's Windows 7 OS. Along with this news, is word that this tablet will actually be available before the company's planned Android tablets. The WindPad 100 will actually be shipping with Intel's Oak Trail CPUs and other specs include a 10-inch display (1,024 x 600 resolution), an SD card slot, and a miniHDMI output.
In April / May we can also expect MSI to push out an ARM-based tablet as well. This one will be running on the Tegra 2 (T20) chipset and will be shipping with Android "Honeycomb", which may be version 2.4 (or 3.0) of the mobile OS from Google.
