HTC's CEO Confirms a Windows Phone 7 Phone For This Year, Says Nexus One Was a Success

At CTIA HTC's CEO, Peter Chou, mentioned that they are indeed launching a Windows Phone 7 handset this year. He never mentioned when and he also never mentioned or confirmed any of the specs of this upcoming smartphone, but it definitely won't be a low-end one. Of course, we already knew that their first WinPho 7 handset was on the way, so this shouldn't be news to anyone.
Chou also mentioned that the Nexus One's sales are a "success" because Google's goal was apparently "to really show how good Android can be."
