"AU KDDI, a Japanese company, recently unveiled a new brand called iida that is intended to bring in consumers that care about making a fashion statement. Their latest offering is the G9 from Sony Ericsson, a slider that's gotten the fancy treatment." Personally, I'm liking the design of this phone, I just don't like how thick the phone is. It has a nice looking 3-inch touchscreen display with an 854 x 480 resolution, a microSD slot, a 3.2MP camera, Bluetooth, GPS, and a 1Seg TV tuner. The phone has a stainless steel body with a coat of a titanium compound, so it really makes the phone look superb. "You can record content using this device and you can use a mobile pico projector to display content received from the 1Seg tuner on your wall or a screen." The phone also has 3.5-hours of talk time and has 230 hours of standby. The phone will be available in 3 colours: black with green accents, a titanium finish with silver accents (pictured) or a mirror finish with pink accents. This phone looks amazing and I'm curious to know how much it is going for; I'm also not sure whether it's already available or not.
Update: As of right now, it looks like there is no official release date or pricing on the Sony Ericsson G9.
