HTC Titan Hits AT&T On November 20th For $199

Labels: , , , , ,

AT&T themselves have just leaked the release date for the HTC Titan. Apparently, the 4.7-inch monster will be available on November 20th for $199.99 on a 2-year contract. The display is, unfortunately, only WVGA so the ppi is actually pretty bad. If you're 7-feet tall though, this may be the perfect phone for you.

AT&T Announces the HTC Titan, Samsung Focus S, Focus Flash; All WP7 "Mango"

Labels: , , , , , ,

AT&T has just announced something great if you've been waiting for a WP7 "Mango" device. The US carrier has just announced that they'll be releasing three of them: the HTC Titan, the Samsung Focus S, and the Samsung Focus Flash. The Titan is pictured above and it should feature a 4.7-inch WVGA display along with a 1.5GHz CPU. The Focus S is said to pack a 4.3-inch Super AMOLED+ display, a 1.4GHz CPU, HSPA+ support, and an 8MP camera. The Focus Flash is going to feature a 3.7-inch Super AMOLED display, a 1.4GHz CPU, and a 5MP camera. Of course, all of these smartphones will feature front-facing cameras since the "Mango" version of the OS supports it.

The carrier also mentioned that their current line-up of Windows Phone 7 handsets (HTC HD7S, Samsung Focus, LG Quantum, and HTC Surround) will be getting the "Mango" update this Fall. The price and release date for the new ones are unknown at this point.

HTC Announces the 3.8-Inch Radar and the 4.7-Inch Titan, Both WP7 "Mango"

Labels: , , , ,

HTC has just announced two upcoming Windows Phone 7 Mango devices, the Radar and the rumoured Titan. The Radar is the lower-end of the two since it's a mid-end device. This one features a 3.8-inch Super LCD display, 8GB of storage, 512MB of RAM, a 5MP camera, and a 1,520mAh battery. This one will reportedly be available sometime next month (October) in Europe in white and silver models. Price is unknown right now but it should be less than the $199 standard - on a 2-year contract.

Here's the one that's been popping up on the rumour mill lately. It's the HTC Titan which packs a large 4.7-inch WVGA display. Sadly, this one still only features a single-core Qualcomm MSM8255 1GHz CPU along with a 5MP camera. It also features 16GB of storage, a microHDMI port, an 8MP AF camera with a dual-LED flash, and a 1,600mAh battery. This may be sporting a large face but it's just 9.9mm thin which is pretty good. This one's also set to hit the market this October in Europe.
