The latest rumour outlines that Vodafone UK will be getting the BlackBerry Storm 2 on October, meanwhile Verizon will get it in November. As of right now, we still don't know if Verizon will launch it as the Storm 2 or the Thunder, but that's not really important, is it? These release dates are just rumours, but I'll try to get a firm release date for you, asap.

The first thing that comes to mind when I hear the BlackBerry Thunder is, why? The second thing is that it could be the BlackBerry 9550 Storm 2. There is no confirmation yet, especially seeing how we've already seen dummy units called Storm 2. Maybe Verizon wants to change the name of the Storm 2 to the Thunder. We don't know, but it's the best thing we can think of.
