Sony Tablet S Officially Announced (Again), Available This September In North America
The Sony Tablet S has been officially announced again today and this time the company mentioned the price and release date. It's headed to the US this September for $499 (16GB) and $599 (32GB) which is right on pace with the Apple iPad 2 (unsurprisingly). In case you forgot, this tablet features a 9.4-inch display with a 1,280 x 800 resolution, a Tegra 2 CPU, WiFi with DLNA support, the Android "Honeycomb" OS, and dual cameras.
Update: Engadget has a preview of the tablet if you're interested. Mobile Syrup has mentioned that this tablet will be hitting Canada this September for the same prices: $499 (16GB) and $599 (32GB), in case you wanted to know.
