Archos Announces Affordable "Honeycomb" Tablets, Starting At $279
Archos has announced two new tablets that aren't lacking on the spec sheet and they're actually affordable which is great for everyone! What you see above is the 8-inch 80 G9 and the 10-inch 101 G9 which are pretty impressive. They both feature a dual-core TI OMAP 1.5GHz CPU, a front-facing camera, a kickstand, an HDMI output, Android "Honeycomb", access to the Android Market, and Google Mobile Apps. These are both set to launch in late September and the base models for each will be $279 and $349, respectively.
The smaller model features a 1,024 x 768 resolution while the larger one sports a 1,280 x 800 one. They both also have 16GB models as well as a 250GB HDD option which will add 3mm to the thickness and a bit of weight. Either way, they're pretty darn good deals so you might want to try one out and pick one up if you're satisfied.
