Another version of the LG Star has just leaked out and it's the P990 Star which is destined for Korea. Is it just me or does the photo above look like the Samsung Galaxy S? Moving along, this LG (P990) Star smartphone is headed to SK Telecom but it's still unknown when or for how much it'll be available. Yes, it's still packing the powerful Nvidia Tegra 2 along with an 8MP camera with an LED flash and 720p HD video recording, an HDMI port, and Android 2.2. Before launch, this is expected to be running on Android 2.3 "Gingerbread" which was made official just two days ago.

Samsung is seriously about taking the first spot from Nokia for global market share in the phone space and they're doing so with the help of Google's Android OS. They have a bunch of form factors right now and here's a new one. The handset you see above and below is the W899 which is going to be running Android 2.2 "Froyo" when it hits the market. Yes, it's a flip phone.
Don't call it a feature phone though because it has external / internal 3.3-inch AMOLED multitouch displays, a 5MP rear-facing camera, a front-facing VGA camera, a 1GHz CPU, a microSD card slot, and 512MB of internal storage. If you still love flip phones then this one's definitely raising the standards. Sadly, it'll only be available on China Telecom.

10-Inch Samsung Gloria Tablet Runs Windows 7 and Has a Slide-Out QWERTY Keyboard?

There's a new rumour going around that a new Samsung tablet is in the works and that should be no surprise to anyone. Apparently though, there's a 10-inch Samsung "Gloria" on the way and it's running Windows 7 along with a slide-out QWERTY keyboard. Obviously, the photo above is just a mock-up of that tablet so don't expect something like it. Similar to what Dell has done with their Inspiron Duo tablet / netbook hybrid, Samsung reportedly will have their own touch-friendly UI over top of Windows 7 if you want that option. We just hope that it runs a bit faster than Dell's does.
The release date for this right now are said to be March / April. If that's the case then we should be seeing it at CES 2011 in early January.
