Okay, so we don't know what Amazon has up their sleeve for the next Kindle, but the latest rumour states that Barnes & Noble is gearing up two new e-book readers. Apparently, they're looking to release a WiFi-only Nook Lite and the Nook 2. Both of these models should hit the market by the end of this year. More specifically, the WiFi-only Nook could actually hit the market sometime this quarter for $199. There are no details on what the Nook 2 will bring to the table.
If you purchased the first Nook you should probably keep in mind that software update 1.4 should be available sometime next week - and it'll feature a browser!
