Qualcomm To Launch 1.3GHz and Dual-Core 1.5GHz Snapdragon CPUs By the End of 2010

We all love the 1GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon CPU especially since it's been powering a bunch of smartbooks at CES and is found inside of several smartphones like the HTC HD2, the Google Nexus One, and the Toshiba TG01. We've just got word that Qualcomm is planning to launch two more [and faster] Snapdragon CPUs this year. The Qualcomm Snapdragon 8X50A is expected to clock in at 1.3GHz and manufacturers will begin checking them out by the end of this month. To make things even better, Qualcomm is also planning to launch a dual-core 1.5GHz Snapdragon CPU by the end of the year. Amazing stuff.
That definitely sucks for the XPERIA X10 since it's using the 1GHz Snapdragon CPU, which could be "slow" if Qualcomm launches the 1.3GHz model.
