Boy Genius has just scooped up possible specifications for the Sony Ericsson XPERIA X2. The successor to the XPERIA X1 is said to have: an 8.1MP AF camera capable of shooting VGA video at 30fps, a 3.5-inch OLED WVGA touchscreen display, aGPS, a 3.5mm headphone jack, an accelerometer (obviously), 512MB of RAM, a "faster" processor, PS3 remote play (similar to the Sony Ericsson Aino), and will be powered by Windows Mobile 6.5. The said handset is said to be upgradeable to WinMo 7 when it officially launches.
Keep in mind that these are just rumoured specs, but if this is true, it looks like a significant upgrade over the XPERIA X1. No word on if the OLED touchscreen display will be resistive again - I hope not. This looks like it could be capable of being one of my favourite handsets of the year.
