Samsung Unveils World's Thinnest LCD HDTV at 3.9mm Thin
Beating the likes of JVC's 6.4mm HDTV and LG's 5.9mm HDTV, Samsung has just unveiled the world's thinnest LCD HDTV - to date of course. The 40-inch Samsung HDTV you see above is LED-backlit (not sidelit) and measures in at a miniscule 3.9mm thin. Other specs include a 120Hz refresh rate and a 5,000:1 contrast ratio. We don't know when it will be available, but I doubt it being all that inexpensive.
