Vobis Computer Launching Dual-Touchscreen HIGHSCREEN PP5420 Android Handset Next Week in Russia
Woah! What is this!? Why it's Vobis Computer's HIGHSCREEN PP5420 handset. Besides, the absurd capital letters, it runs Android 1.5 Cupcake and has a dual-touchscreen display. This handset will launch in Russia next week with dual-band 900/2100MHz HSPA support, a microSD card slot, TV output, a 3MP AF camera, WiFi b/g, and GPS. The main display is a 3-inch WQVGA panel and the smaller one is a 1.15-inch OLED panel with a 128 x 96 resolution.
Other features include: a VGA camera on the front for video calls, a Qualcomm 528MHz CPU, Bluetooth 2.0 + EDR, an FM radio, and a mini USB connector. It will hit Russia next week for €360 ($507 USD). There has been no word whether it will launch anywhere else, but it's pretty awesome isn't it? Gotta love the open-source Android.
