A couple of new notebooks are starting to flood a Best Buy near you and I'm talking about Samsung's Touch of Color notebooks. The Samsung R430 packs an Intel Core 2 Duo and goes for $629.99 (here) - that's the cheapest one you'll find. The Core i3-packing Samsung R480 is going for $729.99 here, while the Core i5-packing R580 and R780 notebooks are here and here, respectively. Check out all of the notebooks on Best Buy here.

Two new notebooks have just been spotted on the Amazon US website and it's the Samsung R430 and the (above) Samsung R530 notebook. Both of them sport a 2.2GHz Intel Core 2 Duo CPU, 4GB of RAM, a 320GB HDD, integrated Intel GMA 4500MHD graphics, and Windows 7. The only difference between the two is that the R430 rocks a 14-inch display and the R530 has a 15.6-inch one. They're both available now for the same $654 USD price tag so get em while they're hot. Keep in mind that both of these notebooks should be getting a Core i5 upgrade soon... so maybe you'll want to wait for that.

With Intel announcing it's new "Arrandale" CPUs, of course Samsung just had to announce a new line-up of notebooks. These new notebooks are a part of their current R Series and include the (14-inch)  R430, (15.6-inch) R530, (17.3-inch) R730, (15.6-inch) R580, and the (17.3-inch) R780. All of these models have LED-backlit HD displays with a 16:9 aspect ratio, which is nothing too surprising. The R580 and the R780 are the high-end models and include Intel Core i5-520M CPU options. These notebooks should all be available by the end of this month - at least in the UK.
