Looks like Lenovo is going to try to take some of the low-end tablet market with the IdeaPad A1. This Android tablet is stuck with "Gingerbread" and will pack last year's specs. The A1 features a 7-inch display with a 1,024 x 600 resolution, a 1GHz ARM Cortex A8 CPU, dual cameras, up to 32GB of storage, a magnesium alloy body, and access to the Android Market and the Lenovo app store.
This tablet is going to be hitting the market this September for just $199 which is fairly good if you can't get your hands on an HP Touchpad which should be crawling its way back into the market in a few weeks. Looks like Samsung should drop their 7-inch Galaxy Tab prices as well.
