The WSJ is reporting that Dell will indeed be launching their Dell XPS 15z tomorrow, May 24th. The notebook's specs are unknown right now but it's said to be the world's thinnest 15-inch notebook to date. Hopefully it's packing a fairly powerful spec sheet as well. Integrated graphics could be in the base model of this one since it's targeted to launch at a starting price of $999. Can't wait!

I think Dell is overhyping this a bit, and that's too bad because on its own it's a very nice laptop, but when compared to a Macbook Pro it just doesn't quite meet the standard. Sure it's more powerful and just about half the price of a Macbook, but that's not where Dell is inviting comparison when they talk about how thin it is.
