If the FCC is to be believed - and why not? - Dell is looking to add a WiMAX option to their Inspiron Mini 10 netbook. The specs seem to be the same though so there aren't any other surprises. It'sgot the same old Qualcomm Gobi chipset which every device should have and it has your choice of Windows XP and Windows 7 as an OS. Check out the FCC filing here.

This shouldn't be a surprise, but Asus is looking to launch an e-book reader in a couple of months and they're going to go head-to-head with the Apple iPad with their own tablet. At Computex (June 1-5) they'll be showing off their e-book reader. That's actually all they said though so no details here. They hinted at launching a smartbook and even a tablet PC running Chrome OS in the second half of this year as well.
Update: According to Slash Gear, Asus' CEO said that this will be a "killer product." They're also assuming that this will be the Eee Pad which will be a tablet made with Nvidia's Tegra 2 graphics. We'll just have to wait until June to find out exactly what it will be.

Interested in another Yinlips product? Well, if so, this could be the one for you. They plan to launch this 6-inch e-book reader with an e-ink display and a similar design. Apparently though, this e-book reader will have a 20 hour battery life and an FM radio. Of course, you'll be able to read a couple of books too. We don't know the price, full spec sheet, or the targeted launch date so you'll have to wait around for all of that information. Too bad the screen is only black and white.

NEC's Latest 24-Inch IPS LCD Monitor Has More Than Enough Colours
NEC has just unveiled their latest IPS LCD monitor, the PA241W. This monitor comes with a 24-inch display with a 1,920 x 1,200 resolution, a 16:10 aspect ratio, 360 nits of brightness, an 8ms response time, 178-degree viewing angles, a 1,000:1 contrast ratio, and DisplayPort / DVI-D / USB ports. The colour is magnificent at 102% coverage of NTSC and a 99.3% coverage of Adobe's RGB. Does that justify its $1,079 price tag? It's up to you.
