Sprint has just released their latest and first Android handset with their new Sprint ID. This is the
Samsung Transform which is available right now for $149.99 on a 2-year contract and for $399.99 contract-free. This handset sports a 3.5-inch touchscreen display, a slide-out QWERTY keyboard, a 3.2MP camera, a front-facing VGA camera, WiFi b/g / Bluetooth support, and Android 2.1 (upgradeable to Android 2.2 in the future). This is a decent handset for the price so check it out if you're in need of Android. It's up on

Update: According to
Phandroid, the
Sanyo (Kyocera) Zio is also available on Sprint. Th6e Zio is going for a bit cheaper, at $99.99 on a 2-year contract.
