Apparently, MetroPCS is looking to launch a new RIM smartphone in the USA really soon. The rumour states that either the
BlackBerry Curve 8530 or the
9300 will be hitting the carrier on $299.99 before a $50 mail-in rebate - bringing the price to $249.99. Of course, this is contract-free so that's a pretty good deal. If you love pre-paid handsets then you
might want to wait for this one if you want to BBM your friends. I'm going to guess that it'll be the Curve 8530 because I can't picture them being the first carrier worldwide to launch the new 9300 - even when it hasn't been announced yet.
