Samsung Galaxy S Hitting Asia Next Month, Android 2.2 "Froyo" Update Coming In the Future

Sometime next month - June - that Samsung Galaxy S will be hitting a couple of markets in Asia and unsubsidized it'll cost a whopping S$1,098 ($775 USD). Of course, that's a bit expensive but then again this is one of the best phones to hit the market up to now. It'll be running Android 2.1 at launch, but Samsung has officially mentioned that this handset will be getting Android 2.2 "Froyo" in the future - who knows how long we'll have to wait for that though.
