LG (C710 / LU2300) Aloha Hits the FCC and Packing the Specs We Love; Could Hit AT&T
Apparently, LG's Ally handset isn't the C710 Aloha handset that we heard about a couple of months ago. Other names for this handset is the LU2300 and we saw this back in March. This handset is the high-end Android phone that we've been looking out for - sadly the rumoured specs weren't spotted in the LG Ally. The LU2300 has just hit the FCC (here) and it's packing a 3.5-inch AMOLED touchscreen display with a 480 x 800 resolution, a slide-out 4-row QWERTY keyboard, a 5MP camera with 720p HD video recording, a 1GHz Snapdragon CPU, WCDMA bands II and V (850/1900MHz), WiFi / GPS support, and Android 2.1. This would be perfect for AT&T in the US and Rogers, Bell and Telus in Canada. There is no word on a price or release date right now.
