Pantech IM-A600S Sirius Handset Packs Android 2.1 and Snapdragon, Headed To AT&T, Verizon, and Korea
This is a surprising one. Pantech has just unveiled the IM-A600S Sirius handset and it's packing a mighty fine spec sheet. This will be available on SKY (in Korea) in the future and it'll be packing a 3.7-inch AMOLED touchscreen display with a 480 x 800 resolution, a Qualcomm Snapdragon 1GHz CPU, a T-DMB TV tuner, a 5MP AF camera, 500MB of internal storage, a microSD card slot, WiFi / DivX support, an HDMI output, and Android 2.1. I definitely wasn't expecting a handset from Pantech to be this good and it's truly impressive. Unfortunately, the custom UI they decided to pack on this handset is a bit lady like.
Update: According to Phandroid, this handset could hit both Verizon and AT&T in the USA.
