MAINGEAR appears to be the second PC manufacturer to push out a desktop PC with the new Intel Core i7-980X Extreme Edition CPU as well. We heard about the Alienware one last night and, of course, MAINGEAR had to do the same. This 3.33GHz 6-core CPU impressed everyone when the benchmarks were leaked out. Anyways, this desktop PC will be named the MAINGEAR SHIFT and is meant for everyday use, which is pretty absurd. You can pack four HDDs / SSDs inside of this monster along with a Bu-ray drive, and dual ATI Radeon HD 5970 4GB graphics cards. It'll start at $2,299 and that's without the Core i7-980X.
