Asus has just released two more netbooks that you might like, the
1001PX and the
1005PE. The Eee PC 1001PX is similar to the
1001P that is already available, but it packs Windows XP along with only two USB 2.0 ports. The rest of the spec sheet is the same so you'll find a 10.1-inch matte display with a 1,024 x 600 resolution, an Intel Atom N450 CPU, WiFi b/g / optional Bluetooth 2.1 support, 1GB of RAM, a 160GB / 250GB HDD, and a 3 / 6-cell battery. The 1005PE is pretty similar and it packs a 10.1-inch display with a 1,024 x 600 resolution, an Intel Atom N450 CPU, WiFi b/g/n, 1GB of RAM, a 250GB HDD, Windows 7 Starter Edition, and a 6-cell battery. It's also got a matte lid with a nice looking textured pattern. Check it out on Amazon
