According to the latest unconfirmed rumour, Sony Ericsson has "denied" to further support Microsoft's Windows Mobile OS. I don't know why, but maybe they'll change their minds when WinMo 6.5 / WinMo 7 comes out. Since they're reportedly going to ditch Windows Mobile, they'll be dishing out both Android and Symbian-based handsets in the future, since they don't think that devices will "sell well" running on Microsoft's mobile OS.
The last Windows Mobile phone Sony Ericsson will launch looks like it will be the XPERIA X2 (above); we already know about the S60-based Sony Ericsson Satio and the unconfirmed XPERIA X3 is going to be running Android. Maybe these handsets are a sign of a good future for Sony Ericsson.
