Yesterday,
Microsoft announced that social networking sites Facebook and Twitter will be coming out this year; it'll be free to Gold Members and on a "free trial" for Silver Members. Well, Sony wasn't going to take this lying down. Sony has just hinted - or actually bluntly gone out and said - that social networking features will be implemented into the PS3. In the interview, they also went on to say that Facebook will be one of the "popular sites" involved. In related news, if it hits the PS3 it'll probably be free - unlike for the 360. By the way, Sony just reiterated what we heard
back in April.
