Samsung Unveils Thinnest and Lightest 13-Inch Notebook, Wrapped In Aluminum With a Core i5 CPU
Samsung has just revealed their latest ultraportable notebook and this one is said to be the "thinnest and lightest 13-inch notebook available. This notebook, a part of their 9 Series, is just 0.68 inches thick and weighs just 2.89 pounds which is pretty sweet and ousts the MacBook Air for the title. Beneath the 13.3-inch LED-backlit display you'll find a new Intel Core i5 2537M CPU, a 128GB SSD, 4GB of RAM, a backlit keyboard, an HDMI output, USB ports, a headphone jack, no optical drive, and Windows 7. Sadly, this sexy notebook will cost you $1,600 for the base model so you'll definitely be paying a premium for it.
Update: Engadget has just mentioned that this notebook will be available sometime next month - February.
