Verizon Announces the LG Vortex and the Cosmos Touch, Launching On November 18th
Verizon has just announced two handsets that they'll be launching and the first one is the LG Vortex (left in the picture above). This one's a bit surprising. The Vortex will actually launch for $79.99 on a 2-year contract after a $100 rebate, which is way more than the free price we were expecting. Anyways, the Vortex features a 3.2-inch touchscreen display, a 3.2MP AF camera, a microSD card slot, Bing as the default search engine, WiFi / Bluetooth 2.1, the Swype keyboard, and Android 2.2.
The other handset (on the right in the picture above) is the LG Cosmos Touch. This one features a 2.8-inch touchscreen display, a slide-out QWERTY keyboard, Bluetooth 2.1 support, a microSD card slot, and a 1.3MP camera. This will be available for $49.99 on a 2-year contract after a $50 mail-in rebate if you're interested.
Both of these handsets will be available starting on November 18th which is three days away.
