Remember the Asus Eee Tablet? Well, it has actually been renamed to the Eee Note. Specs remain the same so you'll find an 8-inch monochrome display (1,024 x 768 resolution), 4GB of internal storage, a 2MB camera, WiFi support, a microSD card slot, and a 3,700mAh battery. The release date is still unknown so a few people are still waiting impatiently. Engadget does mention that we'll likely see it again at CES 2011.
Update: According to a newer Slash Gear post, the 8-inch Eee Note (EA800) will be available this December for under $300. Apparently though, DigiTimes mentions that there'll be a 12-inch model that will actually be launching in January 2011, so we'll probably be seeing this at CES.
