We already know that Fido in Canada will be launching the Android-based Acer Liquid E just like Rogers and there's some more information that has leaked out today. Fido employees have reportedly started their training for this smartphone and they're launch date is set for September 29th unless something goes wrong. The rumoured price tags are said to be $50 on a 3-year contract and $350 contract-free.
Update: Another Mobile Syrup post has just leaked the training document (below) for the Liquid E smartphone. The best news about it is that it will be upgradeable to Android 2.2 "Froyo" sometime in the future - it'll be running version 2.1 when it launches.
