Still waiting on Apple's tablet? Well, according to an analyst this Apple's tablet should start production in March preparing for a launch in the Spring time - which means as early as March. These sources are also claiming that 1,000,000 10-inch multitouch tablets will be made every month. This tablet will cost around $1,000, but he states that there will be no OLED models available.
Of course, if this tablet hits a carrier (with 3G connectivity) it'll be subsidized and the guesstimate for that right now is around - or under - $800, which is still pretty expensive. I don't think I'll be too interested in this device, but if there's a Core i7 / Core i5 in there then it'll be something worthwhile. People are calling this the Kindle-killer, so be prepared Nook owners because it'll probably kill that as well.
Update: According to 9 to 5 Mac, Apple could be planning to bring back their "Think Different" campaign for the launch of this so-called tablet.
