According to a new rumour from
Android and Me, we could be seeing the
Motorola DROID 2 hit Verizon in about two months. The latest rumour pegs the DROID 2 for an August 23rd launch date for a price of $199.99 on a 2-year contract after a $100 mail-in rebate. Apparently, it'll be launching with Android 2.2 on-board so that's great news. Of course, it'll be packing a TI OMAP3640 1GHz CPU so that's just about the biggest improvement over the
original DROID. The keyboard should also be slightly easier to type on.
