Boy Genius has just picked up some information on two new devices headed to Verizon in the near future. The first device is a handset called the Pantech Jest. This handset is going to be sporting a slide-up QWERTY keyboard, 1xRTT connectivity, a 2MP camera, Bluetooth support, a non-standard 2.5mm headphone jack, a microSD card slot, and GPS support. This Jest is going to be available in the near future and we could actually see it hit the carrier in the next week.
Spotted way back in April, we have already known that the Samsung N150 netbook was headed to Verizon. Now it's looking like the netbook should be hitting the carrier in the future - July 8th. The N150 packs a 10.1-inch display, an Intel Atom 1.66GHz CPU, 1GB of RAM, a 160GB HDD, Bluetooth support, and Windows 7 Starter Edition. The netbook itself will feature 3G connectivity on the network, if you want to pick it up. The price is still unknown.
Update: According to yet another Boy Genius post, Verizon is looking to cut the price of a bunch of their handsets on Monday, June 28th. They're all below, thanks to the website. By the way, yes, the DROID X should be available soon.
