1 & 1, a German internet provider, has just shown off an Android-based tablet. Dubbed the SmartPad, it features a 7-inch touchscreen display, WiFi b/g/n, 3G connectivity, an SD card slot, a 2GB card in the box, and a USB host port. It's unknown what version of Android this will have but you'll also be able to use it as an e-book reader and a digital picture frame if you'd like. Price isn't known yet, but it should be available sometime in July.
