JVC Shows Off LED-Backlit 7mm Thin 32-Inch LCD Display at CEDIA 2009

Don't hold this against me, but what you see here - I think - is the JVC "world's thinnest" LCD display that they unveiled back at CES and earlier this month. Well, JVC has just shown off this 32-inch LT-32WX50 1080p LCD HDTV and it's just 7mm thick. This display was shown off at UK's CEDIA show. It has an LED-backlit display and weighs just 11 pounds. It also has: a 4,000:1 contrast ratio, 100Hz "dejudder" technology, and covers 90% of Adobe's RGB colour space. On the back of the display, you'll find: HDMI inputs, a PC port, an SD card slot, and a USB connector. This LCD TV is expected to hit oversea retailers this Fall, but there's been no word on if it will hit North America. If this is the display we saw earlier this month, it should be retailing for around $2,500 USD.
