You may remember the HP HDX because it's the same laptop that Giampaulo got a while back. Well the HP HDX 16t is the upgraded version, according to Engadget. This is probably Microsoft's worst attempt at luring attention. At least, that's what I think. I never even moved in my seat, but maybe that's because I'm exhausted from my long day. On a side note, they choose another HP laptop over a MacBook.

yea that ad was kind of pathetic lol... they took a stab at the macbook only having 2gb of memory but anyone who knows computers would know 2gb of memory on a mac is usually more than enough for any app that a macbook can run... if you want an HD professional quality video editing computer then buy a desktop not a laptop... but 2gb on a macbook isnt something to take a stab at lol
ReplyDeleteand we all know where i stand with macs lol so if i'm saying this was bad then it must be bad lol
Ehh, I think 2GB could be a bit too little for "video editing" that she says that she'll do. But my guess is that she's not that great, so 2GB could actually work out for her.
ReplyDeleteI wouldn't get a PC for video editing though because I actually think that Macs are better for video editing. I think that's their only focus. Final Cut Pro is probably one of the best (if not the best) video editing softwares out there right now.
yea i guess all depends on what the person is doing but i mean anything other than editing uncompressed HD 2gb of memory on a macbook is good enough
ReplyDeleteTrue true. But, we gotta have our gaming!!
ReplyDeletewell if you wanna add gaming then well mac != gaming period lol ( lol not sure if you know but != is does not equal lol)
ReplyDeleteFilm editor my hairless ass. This women does not know anything about hardware. ANY film editor will know hardware. She asked if this laptop has a powerful graphics card....um laptops don't have graphics cards...CAUSE CARDS DONT FIT IN A LAPTOP. Screen is bigger? What the hell kind of film editor doesn't know dimensions and screen resolutions?
ReplyDeleteFCP is good, but it's not the best for video editing. Only reason people say that is it's an apple product. Also FCP has a crapload of templates to choose from, instead of creating your own effects and whatnot. From my experience I'd have to choose Sony Vegas Pro as the best software. Adobe Premier Pro is simply overly complicated. The things that take me 3 seconds to do on SV takes a minute on APP.
Yeah, that was kind of stupid "Is this graphics card any good?" And the guy says, "Yeah." LOL
