The beta for Microsoft Silverlight 3 was back in March and now we've scooped up the details on the official release date. Just in case you care, Microsoft will release Silverlight 3 on July 10 at the Expression Studio 3 conference. Silverlight 3 has: 3D support, GPU acceleration, H.264 video support. The "out-of-the-browser capabilities" are said to compete with Adobe AIR, but we'll just have to see about that.[ZDNet Blogs]
