Remember JVC's 46-inch 3D TV? Well, the GD-463D10 looks like it is now available in the US. This 46-inch 3D TV has: a Full HD resolution, a 2,000:1 contrast ratio, 178-degree viewing angles, three HDMI inputs, and it's 1.5-inches thick. To make things even better it comes with two 3D glasses. Like I said, it's now available in the US for just $9,153.

Yes, 3D-technology is expensive. This TV set, the JVC GD-463D10, will cost around $7,000 USD. The HDTV uses Xpol technology for it's 3D-ness and it requires you to wear those funky glasses, which I don't think is good at all. There are only 2 glasses included in the box, so that could be a bad thing if you're looking to deliver 3D to your whole family. Anyways, the HDTV has a 2,000:1 contrast ratio, 10,000:1 dynamic ratio, 3 HDMI ports, "10Wx2ch speakers and 1080/24, 50p, 60p, 50i and 60i support." The TV will first make its debut in Japan - no surprise - in the beginning of July for the aforementioned price of around $7,000 USD. The 3D HDTV is said to be released worldwide afterwards, but there are no release dates for when that will be. If you want to check it out head over to the NAB Show, which is taking place from April 18 - 23 in Las Vegas.
