Two weeks ago, Acer unveiled a couple of AMD-powered netbooks and one of them has just hit the Amazon US website. This being the Acer Aspire One 721 netbook that packs an 11.6-inch display with a 1,366 x 768 resolution along with an AMD Athlon Neo K125 CPU. Other specs include ATI Radeon HD 4225 graphics, 2GB of DDR3 RAM, a 250GB HDD, a 1.3MP webcam, WiFi b/g/n, HDMI / VGA ports, a 6-cell battery, and Windows 7 Home Premium as an OS. Sadly, the battery life will only last you 2 to 3 hours, which is quite pathetic to be honest. The price seems to be marked at $429.99 (here) but the release date isn't mentioned - it clearly states that it's "temporarily out of stock." Look out for it soon.
