Intel Launching 8-Core Nehalem-Ex CPUs Later This Month

There are a bunch of new products launching this month. Intel is launching their 8-core Nehalem-Ex CPUs later this month. These processors will be a part of their current Xeon CPUs and they have 24MB of shared cache with Turbo Boost "and the pretty awesome ability to scale up to eight sockets -- meaning you could have 64 processing cores in the same rig." That's definitely overkill for just about anything you throw at it.
