HP Also Prepping An Android "Slate", Erm, Tablet


We already heard about the HP Slate that Ballmer showed off at the Microsoft press conference. The latest rumour has it that HP is working on another tablet that's actually a little smaller than the unnamed HP Slate. However, this tablet will be running the Android OS. Specs will have to wait for another day.

    With other concepts reaching out to unnecessary directions, I like how this concept covers every demographic and every need that is required of a personal computer. I think that we are closely approaching a new wave and revolution in the laptop notebook industry. The future is uncertain, but looking beautiful already. Android phones have made a big impact, and have paved the way for the future of electronics.

    Tablets could be the future but right now I don't see myself buying one. I don't know any advantages of buying a tablet over a netbook right now. There are now a bunch of Android tablets though so let's hope this one gets unveiled soon.
