BGR has just picked up some exclusive information regarding future Amazon Android products that will reportedly be available later this year. The Coyote is said to feature a dual-core Tegra 2 CPU, while the Hollywood is said to be sporting a quad-core Tegra 3 CPU.

Both of these tablets are said to be sporting the Android "Honeycomb" OS which shouldn't be surprising. Furthermore, don't be surprised if they have the Amazon AppStore pre-installed. The size of the tablets are still unknown so we'll have to wait for that important information.

Labels: , , , , , , , ,

TmoNews has just published that two more phones are headed to T-Mobile USA on June 8th - as well as the HTC Sensation 4G. The other two handsets are the Samsung "Hawk" Exhibit 4G and the Gravity Touch 2 or GT2. The Exhibit should feature a touchscreen display, HSPA+, a 3MP camera, a front-facing camera, a 1GHz Hummingbird CPU, and Android with the Touchwiz UI. The 2-year contract price is unknown right now but it could be $49.99 after rebates.

The carrier is also getting the Samsung GT2 which sports a 3.2-inch touchscreen display, a slide-out QWERTY keyboard, a 3MP camera with an LED flash, an 800MHz CPU, and Android 2.2 "Froyo". This one should be cheap on a 2-year contract so don't be surprised if it's available for free.

Labels: , , , , , ,

Remember the HTC "Puccini"? Well, it leaked last week and it looks like 911Sniper has managed to get a bit more information on said tablet. Apparently, it's going to sport a 1,280 x 800 resolution display, a dual-core Qualcomm 1.5GHz CPU, and LTE connectivity for AT&T's upcoming 4G network. Fortunately, it should also be running "Honeycomb" so that's definitely a much better tablet OS than "Gingerbread" with the Sense UI.

Samsung Galaxy S II To Get Some Terrible Names For the US Carriers

Labels: , , , , , , , ,

Etailer Wireless Xcessories Group may have just leaked the names for the Samsung Galaxy S II on three US carriers: AT&T, Verizon, and Sprint. Apparently, they're going to be the Attain, Function, and the Within, which actually sounds ridiculous. Keep in mind that T-Mobile is not on this list so maybe they'll be getting a modified version of the smartphone. Those are some terrible names and I'm hoping that Samsung didn't come up with these - even though they probably did. If you do get one, just call it a Galaxy S II.
