Vodafone Germany's Inventory System Shows the White iPhone 4; Best Buy Too!

Labels: , , ,

It's not much but Vodafone Germany's inventory system has just hinted that something just might be on the way. The white iPhone 4 was spotted in their systems which could mean that the launch will be soon. Of course, it'll be available in 16GB and 32GB models but who knows if they'll actually ever be available. We heard that it'll be available in Spring but we'll see if that pans out to be true.

Update: Mac Rumors has just picked up an image of the white iPhone 4 (in 16GB / 32GB models) in Best Buy's internal systems as well. Apparently, the system says that it's on course for a February 27th launch date.

Coming from TmoNews is a possible launch date for the T-Mobile Samsung Vibrant 4G. This handset will be coming with a newer version of Android (supposedly 2.3) and could actually be available on February 23rd according to a leaked e-mail. It kind of sucks that Samsung is actually holding off upgrading the original Vibrant's OS just because of this smartphone. Of course, you can do it on your own if you'd like.

Update: BGR scooped a photo of what appears to be the Vibrant 4G so check it out above - yes, it's running Android 2.3. It also features a front-facing camera along with HSPA+ connectivity.

A new Motorola device has just hit the FCC but it's unknown what it is right now. It has the model number T225 and the T could stand for Tegra 2. If that's the case, this very well could be the XOOM tablet from the company. Maybe it's a new (and large) smartphone that we'll be seeing at MWC. We'll have to wait and see. Check it out at the FCC.

Samsung S5830 Galaxy Ace and S5670 Galaxy Suit Show Up In Official Photos

Labels: , , , , , ,

A few Android devices from Samsung that we've seen before has just shown up in a few official shots. I'm talking about the Samsung S5830 which will reportedly be called the Galaxy Ace and the S5670 which will be the Galaxy Suit. The S5830 we've seen a few times before and has been taking the Galaxy S Mini moniker a few times. This handset will reportedly feature WiFi / Bluetooth 3.0 support, a 5MP AF camera with an LED flash, GPS, an HVGA display, and Android 2.2 with the Touchwiz UI.

The other handset is the S5670 Galaxy Suit and it should be another mid-end one. This looks like it'll be running Android 2.2 so at least it's somewhat up-to-date. Both of these handset should be getting their official unveiling in a few weeks at MWC.

Update: According to Unwired View, the S5830 could actually hit a few places in the future. One place it will be hitting is India where it could be launching as the Galaxy Cooper. I don't really understand the name change. The website has also mentioned that the S5830 features a 3.5-inch display (320 x 480 resolution), a 3.5mm headphone jack, an 800MHz CPU, a 1,350mAh battery, a 2GB microSD card in the box, DLNA support, and HSDPA 900/2100MHz / EDGE/GPRS 850/900/1800/1900MHz connectivity.

Labels: , , , ,

Notion Ink finally has some good news for those few people waiting for their Adam tablet. They have just mentioned that the Adam has gotten FCC certified and it'll be shipping "around Wednesday" this week so we should be seeing some hands-on videos in the near future. This Android tablet was one of the best tablets when it was announced - and still is - but with the onslaught of tablets at CES (namely the BlackBerry Playbook and the Motorola XOOM) they actually might not sell as much as they wanted to. And yes, the next iPad should be announced soon.

MSI Unleashes Three Gaming Notebooks For the US

Labels: ,

A few more gaming notebooks from MSI have just hit America and there's three different sizes. There's the 4-inch  FX400-063US and FX400-062US along with the 15.6-inch FX603 and the 17-inch FX700. The first 14-inch model (063US) sports an Intel Core i3 2.53GHz CPU, USB 2.0 ports, 4GB of RAM, a 500GB HDD, and a mid-end GeForce GT 325M GPU. The other model (062US) packs the same internals but upgrades the CPU to a speedier Core i5 2.66GHz model.

The 15.6-inch and the 17-inch models are pretty much identical to each other. They both pack an Intel Core i5 2.6GHz CPU, GeForce GT 425M graphics, 4GB of RAM, a 500GB HDD, and two USB 3.0 ports. They're all clearly not high-end gaming laptops but they'll do the job if you just want to play StarCraft II.

This handset is sporting AWS 3G bands so it'll be good enough for T-Mobile in the US - maybe it'll even hit Canada on WIND Mobile as well.

It's available on O2 for €29 on a 2-year €22.50 monthly contract or you can also get it unlocked for €599 ($796 USD). That's quite expensive considering that you can get a better Android phone at a cheaper price. This Windows Phone 7 handset features a 3.6-inch WVGA touchscreen display, a 1GHz Snapdragon CPU, a slide-out QWERTY keyboard, and a 5MP camera with 720p HD video recording.

Nokia C1-01 and C2-02 On Its Way To Orange UK

Labels: , , , ,

Two new phones from Nokia look like they're going to hit Orange UK. It's the C1-01 and the C2-01 and they're low and mid-end handsets, respectively. They're both candybar phones and the C1-01 features a 1.8-inch display, a 3.5mm headphone jack, a VGA camera, and a microSD card slot; unfortunately, it doesn't have 3G support. The C2-01, on the other hand, features a 2-inch QVGA display, Bluetooth 2.1 support, Stereo FM radio, a 3.2MP camera, and a microSD card slot. This one is actually Nokia's cheapest 3G handset and it was announced a few months ago, in November. Release dates are unknown right now but both of them should be fairly cheap. Check them out here and here, respectively.
