Verizon Roadmap Leaks; 9 Android Devices and Curve 9370 4G

Labels: , , , , , , , , , ,

IGN has managed to snag a photo of Verizon's upcoming smartphones and there's 9 of them running on the Android OS, which is great. These dates are, of course, subject to change to don't be surprised if they get pushed back a few days or weeks. On September 8th it looks like the Motorola DROID Bionic, Samsung Stratosphere, Motorola XOOM 4G LTE, and even the BlackBerry Curve 9370 (with LTE!) will be launching. Keep in mind that it's highly unlikely that all four devices will launch on the same day so they're just estimates.

On September 29th, it looks like the Samsung Illusion and the HTC Bliss will be available. On October 6th you can expect the HTC Vigor and this one will reportedly be a high-end phone with a 720p display. It's being touted as the HTC Thunderbolt successor. On the 20th, you can expect the LG Revolution 2. Sometime in November the Samsung Galaxy Tab P8 will launch and this could be a 4G (LTE) Galaxy Tab 8.9. Interestingly enough, in January you can expect the Samsung Plato to launch which will be running Android "Ice Cream Sandwich".

On the spec sheet are other low-end phones like the Pantech Breakout, Jest 2, and the Casio C701 so you can look out for those ones as well. Interesting stuff, but it doesn't look like the Galaxy S II is on the list and we know that one will be hitting the carrier soon - possibly August.
