Velocity Micro Unveils 7, 8, and 10-Inch Android Tablets At CES

Labels: , , , , ,

Velocity Micro was another company that brought their fair share of tablets to CES. They've introduced the 7-inch Cruz Tablet L37, 8-inch P38, and the 10.1-inch L510 and they're all running Google's Android OS. Differences? Starting with the L37, it features a 1,024 x 600 resolution, WiFi 802.11n support, 4GB of internal storage, dual-cameras, GPS, Bluetooth 2.1 support, a microHDMI port, and optional 3G. The P38 is pretty much the exact same tablet but actually features a slightly better 1,024 x 768 resolution display.

Last, but not least, there's the Cruz Tablet L510. This one's the best of the trio. It features a much better 1,366 x 768 resolution display along with Nvidia's Tegra 2 chipset. The sad part about all of this is that the company has decided that they'll be launching these tablets pre-installed with Android 2.2 / 2.3 and not "Honeycomb" which is a bit sad. Price and release dates are still unknown as well.
