Dell's 7-Inch Looking Glass Tablet Gets Spotted Again, This Time On Video!

Labels: , , , ,

Yesterday, Dell teased their 7-inch tablet, the Looking Glass, and it looks like it has just been leaked again. This time it's been caught on video (below) and it's looking pretty good so hopefully it'll actually have phone capabilities in the US, unlike Samsung's Galaxy Tab. Buttons aren't really important to me but apparently there's a volume rocker along with a headphone jack. Fast forward to 1:27 if you're looking to save your time.

10-Inch Samsung Galaxy Tab Looking To Hit the Market In 2011 Says Samsung Ireland's GM

Labels: , , , , , ,

Yes, that's right! Samsung is indeed looking to launch a 10-inch Galaxy Tab as it was confirmed this morning by Samsung Ireland's GM. This tablet will be available sometime in 2011 so it should be running Android 3.0 "Gingerbread" or something like that. Of course, this isn't the biggest news ever since we've heard about this before. This iteration of Android should be better suited for tablets so look out for even more of them at CES 2011.

Update: They've removed the part about the 10-inch Galaxy Tab in the works but it was in there. They're just trying to keep it a [bad] secret now.

Dell Goes With AMD For Zino HD HTPC Refresh and Inspiron One 23 All In One PC

Labels: , , , ,

Dell has just unveiled two new products that you might be interested. The first one is an updated Inspiron Zino HD which would be perfect for an HTPC (home theatre PC) if you're looking for one. This one sports an AMD quad-core Phenom II CPU, 1GB discrete ATI graphics, up to a 1TB HDD, and Blu-ray support. Unfortunately, those aren't the standard specs so you'll have to pay a premium for all of that. This one starts at just $299 and comes with a wireless keyboard and an IR remote so it might be a better buy than a Mac Mini - just saying.

Next up is a new all-in-one PC from the company, the Inspiron One 23. Obviously, it sports a 23-inch display with a Full HD (1,920 x 1,080) resolution and is also packing AMD innards. Inside you'll find an Athlon II X4 CPU, ATI Radeon HD 5450 graphics, Blu-ray drive, up to a 1TB HDD, and their new Stage touch UI. The base model for this will cost you $799 and it should be available this weekend.
