Sprint's Samsung Epic 4G Complete Spec Sheet Leaks Out, Nothing Surprising

It was announced about a month ago and the whole spec sheet was already mentioned but Boy Genius felt the need to post the official spec sheet. The Samsung Epic 4G that will be hitting Sprint sports a 4-inch Super AMOLED multitouch capacitive display, a slide-out QWERTY keyboard, a 1GHz Hummingbird CPU, a 5MP camera with an LED flash and 720p HD video recording, a front-facing VGA camera, WiFi b/g/n / Bluetooth 2.1 support, 1GB of ROM, 512MB of RAM, WiMAX (4G) / EVDO Rev. A (3G) connectivity, a microSD card slot, GPS, a gyroscope, a 3.5mm headphone jack, and Android 2.1 with the Touchwiz UI. This smartphone is rumoured to be hitting the carrier on or around August 20th.

Bell Launching the BlackBerry Curve 3G (9300) Smartphone On August 12th

It looks like Bell will be getting the BlackBerry Curve 3G (9300) in the next two weeks. On August 12th, Bell in Canada will be launching the smartphone. It's unknown if this smartphone will be running OS 6.0 but a lot of people believe that it, unfortunately, won't be. Oh well, look out for it soon.

Vodafone UK Getting the BlackBerry 9800 In September / October?

There's a rumour going around that RIM plans to release the BlackBerry 9800 in the UK. Apparently, the smartphone is going to be hitting Vodafone in September / October, but it's just a rumour coming from BBLeaks right now. BBLeaks has also mentioned that Telefonica, Orange, T-Mobile UK, and O2 are currently testing the device as well, so people in Europe will likely be able to get their hands on this smartphone in the next couple of months.

Telus Getting the Samsung Galaxy Apollo In the Near Future

Something from Samsung is headed to Telus in the future and it looks like it could be another Android handset. The picture above is definitely hinting that it will be the Samsung Galaxy Apollo, which is a pretty decent handset. It won't stack up to the Galaxy S Vibrant on Bell, but the Galaxy Apollo could be a good mid-end Android handset for the carrier. Look out for it soon.

T-Mobile Gets Their Motorola Charm Dummy Units, Will Cost $269.99 Contract-Free

T-Mobile USA looks like they're just about ready to release the Motorola Charm. This Android-based smartphone will clearly be hitting the carrier for $269.99 contract-free and for $74.99 on a 2-year contract - as expected. Keep in mind that the unit pictured above is just a dummy unit, but you can expect it to actually be released in a few days / weeks.

7-Inch Augen Android Tablet Up For $150 On Kmart

Augen is a company that has just released their 7-inch Android tablet over the weekend. It's up on Kmart here for just $149.99 so it might be a good deal if you're just looking to get your foot into the door. For the price, you'll get 2GB of internal storage, 256MB of RAM, WiFi support, and Android 2.1. Thankfully, this tablet also has access to the Android Market which is pretty good. Augen has mentioned that Kmart will have them in their stores later this week but for now you'll have to order one on their website.

Augen has also released the $89 TheBook e-book reader which is also sporting a 7-inch LCD display, but it's not running Android.

10-Inch Interpad Tablet Launching This Holiday Season, Android 2.1 With Tegra 2 CPU

A German company looks like they're just about ready to jump onto the Android tablet bandwagon. The Interpad tablet is reportedly going to feature a 10-inch capacitive multitouch display, Nvidia's Tegra 2 T20 dual-core 1GHz CPU, 1GB of DDR2 RAM, 16GB of internal storage, a microSD card slot, WiFi b/g / Bluetooth 2.1 support, an HDMI output, a 3.5mm headphone jack, a USB port, a 3,900mAh battery (that will last up to 12 hours), and Android 2.1. Apparently, this will be hitting the market in the holiday season for €399 ($518 USD) and there's no word if this will be hitting outside of Germany.

Apple's Unlocked 16GB iPhone 4 To Cost $659 In Canada, $779 For 32GB?

We already know that Canada will be getting the iPhone 4 this Friday and the pricing for the unlocked models may have just been mentioned - thanks to CBC. Apparently, the unlocked 16GB model will cost you $659 while the larger 32GB model will cost $779. They're definitely expensive, but if you have the money and you want to live contract-free then it'll pay off in the long run, right?

Apple Updating Their 27-Inch LED Cinema Display, iMac, and Mac Pro Tomorrow? -- Magic Trackpad Too?

There's a rumour going around that Apple will be updating a couple of their products tomorrow. This includes the monitor you see above (on the right), the 27-inch LED Cinema Display along with the iMac and Mac Pro which seem to be just about unavailable on their online store. Of course, everyone has just been waiting for Apple to refresh these three, but it does seem a bit sudden. Then again, you never know with Apple.

Update: Pocket-Lint has just mentioned that Apple's Magic Trackpad could be launching tomorrow as well.

Motorola Rumoured To Be Launching a 10-Inch Android 3.0 Based Tablet This November

According to The Street, Motorola could be cooking up a desirable tablet geared up for a November launch date. Of course, coming from that website it's definitely just a big fat (but juicy) rumour. Anyways, apparently, Motorola's tablet could sport a 10-inch touchscreen display along with Android 3.0 "Gingerbread." The rest of the spec sheet is pretty much unknown since it is just a rumour right now. Hopefully, this tablet does become reality though and if it does then it could be hitting Verizon sometime this holiday season. We'll see what happens.

Dell UK Puts Up a New 11.6-Inch Inspiron M101z Notebook With AMD Innards

Dell is looking like they're going to be releasing a new small notebook and it has already made its way onto their website in at least one location - the UK. Named the Inspiron M101z, this notebook packs an AMD Athlon Neo K125 single-core / dual-core K325 CPU options, an 11.6-inch display, 2GB of RAM, a 250GB HDD, integrated ATI RS880M graphics, and a 6-cell battery that should last 6.5-hours. This notebook is now available for £379 ($588 USD) on the UK website right now but we don't know how much it will be when it hits the US. Engadget is guessing that it'll be around $450, but it's just a guess. Anyways, check it out on Dell UK here.

Acer Announces Three New LED-Backlit Monitors, Comes In 20, 21.5, and 23-Inch Flavours

Acer has just announced three more monitors. They come in 20 (S201HL), 21.5 (S211HL), and 23-inch (S231HL) models and they'll all be available very soon for $169.99, $219.99, and $269.99, respectively. All of these models sports an LED-backlit display, a 12,000,000:1 dynamic contrast ratio, a 5ms response time, 250 nits of brightness, VGA / DVI / HDMI inputs, 16.7 million colours, and they're Energy Star 5.0 compliant. The two larger models sport a Full HD (1,920 x 1,080) resolution, but the smallest one (the 20-inch model) won't - it'll likely have a 1,600 x 900 resolution instead. Like I said, look out for them all soon.

LG X140 Netbook Gets Announced In Korea

It's been a while since we've seen this netbook and it has just been announced by LG themselves. The X140 is a netbook that sports a 10.1-inch LED-backlit display with a 1,366 x 768 resolution, an Intel Atom N470 1.83GHz CPU, 2GB of RAM, a 320GB HDD, a 1.3MP webcam, and Windows 7 Starter Edition. The netbook itself will be available in black, white, and hot pink.

As expected, Sprint USA has released the Android-based Motorola i1 handset. This phone packs a 3.1-inch capacitive touchscreen display, a 5MP camera, Swype, and Android 2.1 with MOTOBLUR. Samsung Galaxy Q To Be a BlackBerry On Steroids (With Froyo)? Supposed Spec Sheet Leaks Out

Apparently, the Samsung Galaxy Q's whole spec sheet has leaked out - that's the picture you're seeing above. The Galaxy Q (which we heard about back in June) is supposed to take the BlackBerry head-on with the Android OS and if the rumoured spec sheet is true then it will do just that. The Galaxy Q is expected to feature a 3-inch Super AMOLED multitouch display with a 480 x 720 resolution, a 1GHz Hummingbird CPU, an 8MP camera with an LED flash and 720p HD video recording, a 1.3MP front-facing camera, a QWERTY keyboard, Bluetooth 3.0 / WiFi 802.11n support, a mini HDMI port, 16GB of internal storage, a microSD card slot, quad-band GSM / tri-band 3G connectivity, an optical trackpad, and a 1,500mAh battery. Of course, this is also expected to run Android 2.2 "Froyo" which is great news. This is looking like it could be a great handset but let's not judge until we see the official statement from Samsung and a picture of it.
