BlackBerry 9800 Gets Spotted In UAProf, Storm / Bold Slider? -- 9105 As Well

Labels: , , , , , ,

Thanks to another UAProf, another BlackBerry has been hinted at, with a model number 9800. We don't know what this could be. Could it be the BlackBerry Bold / Storm slider or could it be something we haven't heard of yet (like a Storm 3)? We don't know but the handset is said to feature WiFi 802.11n, 3G connectivity, a 360 x 480 resolution display, and the new BB OS 6.0. Unfortunately, this new OS still doesn't feature their upcoming WebKit browser, but it'll get implemented in the feature.

Update: According to Cell Passion, RIM has also leaked out the BlackBerry 9105, which is said to be the Pearl 9100 with a traditional T9 keypad.

Dell Mini 5 Is "Amazing", Hitting USA (AT&T) For $300 On Contract?

Labels: , , , , , , , ,

The Dell Mini 5 looks like it has just been fondled by Viacom's MTV exec, Greg Clayman, and he mentioned that it's amazing. That's not all though. Cranky Geeks has mentioned that it could hit the US (probably AT&T) for $300 on contract, which isn't bad. Either way, this Android MID looks like it is a bit too big for most people's pocket, but it has potential if it could lock up deals with Amazon.

What you see above is making the rounds as an upcoming Motorola phone. It's clearly sporting MOTOBLUR and it's lying over top of Android 2.1. Apparently, some kid borrowed this from a friend who's dad works for Motorola because he wanted to use it as a calculator. There's no clue how legit the story is, but we'll have to wait around for more news on this boxy handset.

Apple MacBook Refresh Really Coming On Tuesday?

Labels: , , ,

Everything seems to be hinting at a Macbook refresh this Tuesday, April 13th. Thanks to this MicroCenter slip-up, we're seeing that new MacBook Pro's will be priced anywhere between $1,799.99 and $2,299.99. These suggest that they'll hit the market with Core i5 / i7 CPU options and possibly even Nvidia's Optimus technology. Obviously, they're much more expensive than other notebooks sporting the exact same specifications.

That's not all though, apparently, the Intel Core 2 Duo 2.26GHz MacBook will drop to $799, which is perfect for those who like year old MacBooks and people who just want to hop on the Apple wagon.
