Sony Vaio M Netbook Is the Cheapest Vaio Around

Remember the Sony Vaio M? Well, it's just been officially unveiled to pack traiditonal netbook specs and that's good news for consumers because this is going to be the cheapest Vaio to hit the market. The Vaio M will be packing a 10-inch LED-backlit display, an Intel Atom N450 CPU, a 250GB HDD, 1GB of RAM, WiFi / Bluetooth, three USB 2.0 ports, an integrated webcam, a 6-cell battery, and Windows y Starter Edition. This netbook will be available later this month for £299, which is about $450 USD. The price date for the US hasn't officially been mentioned so we'll have to wait for that.

Viewsonic VNB132 and VNB141 Notebooks and VPC190 All In One PC Now Available

Viewsonic appears to have pushed out a bunch of new products including the 13.3-inch ViewBook VNB132, the 14-inch ViewBook VNB141, and the 18.5-inch VPC190 all-in-one PC. The VNB132 packs an Intel Celeron SU2300 CPU, a 320GB HDD, 2GB of RAM, WiFi b/g/n, three USB 2.0 ports, a 7-in-1 card reader, a 1.3MP webcam, VGA / HDMI ports, and a 4-cell battery. The slightly larger VNB141 packs an Intel Core 2 Duo SU7300 CPU, a 250GB HDD, 2GB of RAM, WiFi b/g/n, and a DVD burner. The VNB132 (here) and the VNB141 (here) are priced at $649 and $829, respectively.

The VPC190 is an all in one PC, like I said, and it's packing an 18.5-inch display along with 2GB of RAM, a 1.3MP webcam, six USB 2.0 ports, WiFi b/g, an Ethernet port, a 4-in-1 card reader, and Windows 7 Home Premium. This is available here for $629.

Google Nexus One Now Available On AT&T In the US and On Rogers In Canada!

Finally! The Google Nexus One is now available in Canada via Rogers and on AT&T in the US. It's available for the same price, $529.99 USD, that you should be familiar with on T-Mobile. I don't know how much Google will charge your card if you order one from Canada though, but I'm guessing it'll roughly be $540 CAD. I'd go and get one but I'm still waiting for Google Voice. Update: According to Mobile Syrup, Google has just updated the Nexus One to show you that the Rogers-compatible model also works with Bell and Telus.

Acer's Calpella-Based Notebook To Be Launched as the Aspire TimelineX 1830T

Remember the Calpella-based notebook that we're expecting from Acer? Well, it looks like some details regarding that notebook have just been leaked out. It will be called the Acer Aspire TimelineX 1830T and it'll be sporting an Intel Core i5-520UM CPU clocked at 1.06GHz but if you use Turbo Boost you can crank it up to 1.86GHz. Other specs include an 11.6-inch display with a 1,366 x 768 resolution, integrated graphics, 2 RAM slots, an HDMI port, WiFi b/g/n support, a muticard reader and three USB 2.0 ports. 3G and Bluetooth 2.1 + EDR support are both optional.

The body of the notebook is said to be around an inch thick and the battery will last up to 8 hours. The price and release details haven't been mentioned yet, but let's hope we find out by the end of this month.

Fujitsu Unveils a Bunch Of Eco-Friendly PCs, Part of Their proGREEN Line-Up

Fujitsu has just revealed a bunch of new notebooks and desktops as a part of their proGREEN line-up. The LifeBook E780 and the S710 sport 14-inch and 15.6-inch displays, respectively, and they're both LED-backlit to save some energy. The 14-inch E780 notebook will reportedly last 18 hours because it'll be fueled by two batteries. The full spec sheet for either notebook hasn't been revealed yet. 

They also went on to unveil the Esprimo E9900 and P9900 which will both be running on new Intel Core i5 CPUs. Two workstations were announced as well and I'm talking about the Celsius W280 and the H700. The only thing we know about these is that they'll both be running Core i7 CPUs and the H700 model will have Nvidia graphics.

The price and release date wasn't mentioned.

All Three Windows Phone 7 Series Handsets Side-By-Side

The title says it all. What you see above are the three Windows Phone 7 Series handsets that have been unveiled so far. From left to right, it's Samsung, Asus, and LG. I like the form factor of the Asus the best but the display on the Samsung one looks to be the brightest. The LG display also looks crisp and has a slide-out QWERTY keyboard which is a plus.

Lenovo ThinkPad Mini 10 Netbooked Spotted In Australia?

Apparently someone from Australia spotted a couple of ThinkPad netbooks at their school and it was named the Mini 10. As you can see it looks similar to the X100e but it sports a smaller display - hinted by the large bezel. The specs aren't mentioned but maybe we'll find out about them soon. Keep in mind that this isn't confirmed at the time since Lenovo hasn't announced a 10-inch netbook yet.

MAINGEAR SHIFT Desktop PC Packs Intel Core i7-980X CPU For a Price

MAINGEAR appears to be the second PC manufacturer to push out a desktop PC with the new Intel Core i7-980X Extreme Edition CPU as well. We heard about the Alienware one last night and, of course, MAINGEAR had to do the same. This 3.33GHz 6-core CPU impressed everyone when the benchmarks were leaked out. Anyways, this desktop PC will be named the MAINGEAR SHIFT and is meant for everyday use, which is pretty absurd. You can pack four HDDs / SSDs inside of this monster along with a Bu-ray drive, and dual ATI Radeon HD 5970 4GB graphics cards. It'll start at $2,299 and that's without the Core i7-980X.

Quanta QW6 Netbook Spotted at the FCC, Could Be Sporting Ion 2

A new netbook from Quanta has just been spotted at the FCC. It's the QW6 and it looks pretty good with its 10-inch display and a matte lid. It's got a glossy display and buttonless keyboard so we'll have to see how that works out. The good news is that it is packing an HDMI output and integrated graphics can't handle HD output. This could be hinting that it'll be packing some Ion 2 graphics goodness. Check out the FCC filing here.

T-Mobile USA Launching HTC HD2 and Nokia Nuron 5230 On March 24th!

Apparently, the HTC HD2 and the Nokia Nuron 5230 are both confirmed to launch on March 24th. The HD2 will be available for $199.99 on a 2-year contract (predictable) and the Nuron will reportedly hit T-Mobile for $69.99 on contract. Which one are you going to get?

15.6-Inch Shuttle X50 V2 All In One PC Now Available

We heard about this over two months ago and now it's official. Shuttle has just updated their X50 all-in-one PC to V2 and packed in an Intel Atom D510 CPU. The touchscreen display is 15.6-inches and sports a 1,366 x 768 resolution and inside you'll find up to 4GB of RAM and a 2.5-inch HDD / SSD. There's also an integrated webcam, audio in / out, an Ethernet port, four USB 2.0 / VGA ports, and a mini PCIe slot for your WiFi needs. Spring Design Alex Now Available Without 3G For $399, Shipping April 14th

Finally the Spring Design Alex e-book reader is available for you to purchase. This $399 reader comes with an e-ink display at the top and an Android coloured touchscreen display on the bottom. If you purchase one now, the shipping date is said to be April 14th. Unfortunately, it doesn't have integrated 3G, but that model should be available later - but who knows when that will be. It does have WiFi but it only uses Android 1.5 which is another let down. Check it out here.

3.3-Inch Cowon J3 PMP Packing AMOLED Display, Launching Later This Month

We've heard about this PMP before so you shouldn't be too surprised. The Cowon J3 PMP is packing a 3.3-inch AMOLED touchscreen display with a 480 x 272 resolution. This PMP will be available later this month (likely just overseas) and packs goodies like Bluetooth, WiFi, a TV output, and 4GB / 8GB / 16GB models. This PMP has already passed the FCC so just look out for it to hit the stores soon. The price tag wasn't mentioned.

Samsung S3370 Pictured In the Wild, Packing 3G and Just €99

An upcoming handset from Samsung has just been pictured in the wild and it's the S3370. We haven't heard anything about this phone before today and it's pretty impressive since it packs integrated 3G connectivity and will be available unlocked for just €99 ($136 USD). This handset appears to be packing a touchscreen display, a camera on the back, Bluetooth, and a microSD card slot. The UI is going to be their own TouchWiz UI but how could you complain with the cheap price tag.

Dell M01M001 Gets GCF Certified, No Clue What It Is

I have no clue what the Dell M01M001 is but it has just got approved by the GCF. This handset is rocking quad-band GSM / GPRS / EDGE along with dual-band UMTS / HSDPA / HSUPA connectivity so it's definitely a phone of some sort. Unfortunately that's all we know about this handset so far so let's hope it runs either Android or Windows Phone 7.

Motorola CLIQ XT Hitting T-Mobile Tomorrow For $99? BOGO Too?

So it looks like the Motorola CLIQ XT could be launching as soon as tomorrow, March 17th. This handset will reportedly be available for $99 on a 2-year contract and will actually be part of a Buy One Get One Free deal thanks to T-Mobile. This is pretty awesome for another Android handset launch, so go and scoop two of them up if you want to.

Samsung Entering the Tablet Market Later This Year, Trash-Talks the iPad

This should come as no surprise. Samsung has just mentioned that they have plans to enter the Slate PC business aka the tablet market. They have started this out by calling the iPad a "glorified MID." Samsung didn't mention any details about their possible tablet that will debut later (second half) this year but they hinted that it'll be Atom-based and there'll be a docking station.

Verizon Getting the Samsung Reality U820 Sometime In April

It looks like Verizon will be getting another Samsung handset that will supposedly be the Rogue U960's younger brother. The Samsung Reality U820 will be rocking a 3-inch touchscreen display with a 240 x 400 resolution, social integration, a 3.2MP camera with a flash, a 3.5mm headphone jack, a microSD card slot, Bluetooth support, and the Touchwiz UI. The price and release date hasn't been mentioned yet but it should be available sometime in April and, I assume, will be cheaper than the Rogue. Unfortunately, you will need a data plan for this handset.

Acer Aspire One 721 Gets Spotted at the FCC

Acer has let another one of their netbooks get fondled at the FCC offices. This one is the Aspire One 721 which we've never heard about before. It'll be another 11-inch netbook that'll feature several ports including three USB 2.0, VGA, and HDMI. There was no mention of the spec sheet so let's not assume that this will be Atom-based since it could be AMD-based. Check out the FCC filing here.

It looks like the Samsung CorbyPRO (B5310) is reportedly starting to ship to Canada's Rogers stores across the nation. This handset will be available for $69.99 on a 3-year contract, $119.99 on a 2-year contract, $219.99 on a 1-year contract, and $274.99 contract-free. This handset is packing a 2.8-inch QVGA touchscreen display with a 240 x 320 resolution, a slide-out QWERTY keyboard, WiFi, a 3MP camera with video recording capabilities, a microSD card slot, a 3.5mm headphone jack, social integration, and the Touchwiz UI.
