LG Vortex Is the CDMA Variant Of the Optimus One, Headed To Verizon

Labels: , , , , , , ,

LG looks like they'll be releasing another Android-based handset on Verizon sometime in the future. Dubbed the Vortex, this is said to be the CDMA variant of the LG Optimus One and it has a design change as well. The LG Vortex features a 3.2-inch HVGA touchscreen display, a 600MHz CPU, a 3.2MP AF camera, a 3.5mm headphone jack, GPS, WiFi / Bluetooth support, and Android 2.2. Apparently, this handset will be available before the end of November and judging from the specs it shouldn't cost more than $100 on contract.

Update: According to Engadget Mobile, the photo below was leaked late last night. This handset is headed to Verizon - like I said - and will be sporting Bing as the primary search engine and no FM radio.
